Who We Are

In March 2024 Port Dinorwic Harbour was purchased by The Waterside Consortium , brought together by a shared interest in preserving and improving the port, which sadly had been neglected for a number of years.
We are currently working on a number of projects, including;
  • Renovating the original inner and outer lock gates
  • Structural repairs and repainting of the 1900 Bascule Bridge
  • Reinstatement of the dry dock (Graving Dock)
  • Programme of dredging the harbours and approaches

At Port Dinorwic we pride ourselves in the rich history of the marina and its importance in maritime transportation throughout the 20th century. Today, Port Dinorwic stands as a testament to this heritage, and visitors can explore the remnants of our industrial past along the waterfront.
